About me

Hi, I’m Zaynah Hunt. I create a safe and compassionate environment where individuals can holistically explore their issues and increase their well-being and quality of life. My experience includes assessing and counseling adults and youth of diverse backgrounds and needs, including veterans and their families.

I provide individual and group therapy to people experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, relationship distress, parenting concerns, self-esteem and self-concept issues, grief, stress, burnout, phase of life problems, career concerns, and issues related to goal setting and finding purpose.

I have a passion for helping individuals create healthy relationships with themselves and others. As a licensed therapist, who is a Christian, I also enjoy helping faith-based organizations and the community at large learn more about mental health. I would love to speak at your next event, training, or podcast to bring mental health awareness.

I am a graduate of Hampton University and North Carolina State University, where I received my BA and MS in Sociology. I also hold a MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

I am able to provide therapy to individuals living in North Carolina, and I accept most major insurance plans. I look forward to working you!
